Ambury Farm

Yesterday our literacy group went to Ambury farm. Mr Jacobsen took some of us on his van. When we arrived we saw sheep and some chickens and a big bull . After that saw the cows getting milking then the man told us the brown one is a  friesian cow and black one is a jersey cow.

  2. Hello, Joseph, my name is William Taylor; I am a student at the University of South Alabama located in Mobile, Alabama. Do you know where Mobile is located? Mobile is a port city on the Gulf Coast. Mobile is known for its seafood and Mardi Gras. I am glad you enjoyed your visit to Ambury farm. I love animals, and I'm glad your class had the opportunity to observe a cow, some chickens, a sheep, and a bull. I enjoyed your colorful picture and your story, and I'm looking forward to observing more of your artistic works.

    Thanks. William.

  3. Hi Joseph,
My name is Heather Howton. I am also a student at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. That is awesome that you all got to go out to a farm! I am actually from a farming community, so I got to grow up with many of the animals that you got to see. My grandparents had chickens throughout my childhood, and they even once had a bull. I did not know that friesian and jersey are two types of cows. You have taught me something new already. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you and your classmates learn throughout this year.
